Chloe Day School & Wellness Center
Where Minds Bloom, Hands grow, And Little Lives are Transformed
The Chloe Day School and Family Wellness Center is a public preschool and wellness space that takes a progressive – approach to learning, child development, and family empowerment. We believe that children are intrinsically curious and are capable of making meaningful discoveries when they are given opportunities to explore, play, and experience their environment. Children do best when supported by strong and healthy families. From the beginning of life, families nurture their children to be healthy and develop the capacities they will need to be ready for school and success. We believe that all children, regardless of their community, religious background, race, gender, or socioeconomic status, are gifted with unique talents and abilities to offer the world.
A school is a place where children can develop and explore the skills and talents needed to become their most authentic selves. We understand the significance of families’ roles in the development of children, and we believe that supportive and trusting partnerships with families are critical, and they are our greatest asset in administering student achievement.
Mission
Our mission is to nurture the whole child’s early learning experience while supporting their physical, cognitive, social-emotional, mental and spiritual development; through play and social interaction to prepare preschool children and their families to recognize their unique potential as lifelong learners and leaders.”

Our Philosophy
Learning Through Play
The Chloe Day School and Wellness Center is a Progressive, Trauma-Informed preschool and wellness space inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and the Montessori Philosophy, which encourages children to be their own creators, working actively in their environment to create infinite experiences.
Our hours of operation are from 8:15 am - 2:50 pm, Monday thru Friday. We offer Early Drop-Off Services (7:45 am - 8:15 am) and an After School Enrichment program (2:50 pm - 5:50 pm).
Our enrichment program will cost an additional fee. (space is limited)
We will also provide family support and mental health preventative services for families in the evenings bi-monthly, including our parenting journey program.
We believe:
Children learn by doing.
Children learn at different paces, using different learning styles and various strengths and talents.
Children learn better when their families are actively engaged in their educational experience.

Arts Integration
Art is a vital component of our program, where children can experiment with materials and gain satisfaction from their creative endeavors. Art activities will allow children to make discoveries that express their thoughts, perceptions, and moods while developing creative and critical thinking skills.
Family Wellness
Our team will be dedicated to helping students and their families discover and develop their individual strengths, build strong families, and live their most authentic selves. Our goal is to create strong bonds with our children and families to develop a nurturing and engaging school community.

Gross Motor Play
The outdoors is the best place for preschoolers to practice and master emerging physical skills. In the outdoors, children can fully and freely experience motor skills like running, leaping, and jumping. Outdoor experiences allow young children the opportunity to discover their environment and community.
Trauma-Invested
Environment
With being aware of the trauma that our community face, especially during a pandemic; we at Chloe are dedicated to fostering a school community that is responsive to the needs of our students and their families. Focusing on strengths and setting realistic goals, we include every aspect of our students' environment as an opportunity to support social-emotional development.
